Jason Butler is an award winning artist/sculptor. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona-School of Art. Butler has been building custom projects for discriminating clients now for over 10 years.
His studio is tooled-up to manipulate metal in many ways; TIG welding in stainless steel, bronze, aluminum and steel, forging, machining, water jet and CNC plasma cutting, pipe and tube rolling and bending, press brake bending, shearing and much more. He first began working with metal in 2000 while attending Humboldt State University in northern California. In 2004 Butler worked with Tucson's Doug Thompson, master metal craftsman during a two year internship.
Jason taught for 12 years at The University of Arizona, Pima Community College and two Tucson area high schools. He is now working full time on studio projects.
